OUR CURRICULUM AND PEDAGOGY

G D Goenka’s Toddler House curriculum provides the right inputs to help the children to grow in integrated manners into caring individuals.

Our curriculum is designed by best child specialists who understand all the stages of development of a child.Our main aim is to provide children an environment of joyful learning consists of fun- filled activities play, language enrichment and communication and stimulating learning experience are main base of our curriculum.

Our curriculum is consist of Jolly Phonics, Piagets theory of cognitive development, Howard Gardner’s theory on multiple intelligences and Friedrich Froebel’s play methods to achieve the highest potential of the child in any environment and space through activities established on all details of intelligence and personality.

Our curriculum includes activities that can motivate the child’s skills to work with others, play cooperatively, have sense of empathy, team spirit. It helps a child develop respect for others around them, learn to forgive, learn to love each other, have sense of compassion and understanding, practice gratitude for a beautiful life, enjoy the freedom to discover, engage, explore and express, celebrate the joy of existence, responsibility and thoughtfulness and practices honesty in thoughts and actions.

We believe that children learn best when teaching methods and school activities match their learning style, strengths and preference. These four key types are Visual, Auditory, Reading/ Writing and Kinesthetic learners.

Our thematic approach to teaching involves integrating all subject areas together under one theme. Through meaningful activities, the themes connect the different learning domains such as Music, Arts, Physical Health and Education Language & Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Value Based Education.

All festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm,zeal and pride. Children are exposed to the essence of the festivals through stories, music, dance, food, discussion and a variety of hands-on activities and projects.

SENSORY PLAY

  • Sensory play is an essential part of early childhood development from birth to early years children use their five senses to inspect and try to make sense of the world around them.
